Day Out with Slug

Went to the Thieves' Market near Sim Lim Tower as Slug wanted to seek some treasures, but all I saw was junk. Junk like old records, cassette tapes, pots, used shoes, fake watches, sunglasses and even naked Barbie dolls. Despite that, Slug managed to buy an amplifier at half its market price. And I thought girls are better at hunting down bargains.

Went on to have dinner of beer-battered fish and chips at Bugis. I must say that we were really spoilt for choice at the basement of Bugis Junction, with its dizzying array of food outlets.
