Wedding Lunch

Went for a JC classmate's wedding luncheon at Marina Mandarin. Finally someone from our JC class decided to be the first to jump onto the marriage bandwagon!

Despite being a wedding lunch, it was anything but a stereotypical buffet. Throughout the nine-course lunch, we were served a gratifying array of dishes, from the cold platter to roast chicken with prawn crackers, from steamed sea bass to butter prawns. The highlight of the luncheon was actually to catch up with my ex-classmates, many of whom I had not seen ever since JC. My never-changing hairstyle earned me an informal 'Most Unchanged' award from the girls.

33/00 reunited again!

And in the midst of chatting and reminiscing the old times, we came up with a disturbing discovery: an estimated half of us are teachers, a quarter is in the legal sector, and the remaining quarter is in the civil service. Of all professions ... teachers?

With Kai Sheng, the bridegroom

Nothing is more heartwarming than a gathering with friends you have not seen for ages and finding out that they are doing well.
