Fieldtrip to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve

4th (and last) fieldtrip to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, and conducted by the group of 4 bitches. The vindictive us wanted to take revenge for the injustice we suffered last week, and we intended to walk reeeaaaally slowly to spite them.

On our way there, it started to drizzle and we decided that was the best revenge because it would mean cancelling the fieldtrip and early dismissal. Nevertheless, we still headed towards the destination and congregated at the Visitor Centre.

Despite the drizzle, we still embarked on the trail to investigate characteristics of the equatorial rainforest. While measuring the buttress roots of a huge tree, it started to rain heavily and we dashed back to the Visitor Centre. For the rest of the fieldtrip, it was the explore-the-exhibits-and-copy-down-notes routine.

After the group discussion and evaluation, the rain stopped and our tutor took us along another trail leading to a quarry. Along the way, we encountered different plant species, a special bird (one Geog mate immediately fished out his binoculars a la going on bird-watching), squirrels and fresh monkey poo. The air after the rain was crisp and refreshing.

Found the energy to go St James with Ah Tan! We were so in love with Powerhouse! Solid dance tunes coupled with countless shots resulted in a night of vigorous dancing and grinning. All was clean ol' fun ... until we dared each other to pinch / tug / pull the pants of one exuberant boy dancing on the platform. Surprisingly, he was more pleased than offended.

Intoxicated with euphoria and vodka for the night
