Had lunch with Necks at Pizza Place at JP, our favourite haunt, but the branch at Raffles City closed down le! What a pity! Poor Necks came all the way from Tampines to Boon Lay, but what made me narrow my eyes at him was that he actually could stand the 2 hour journey on bus 30 just because he had bus concession. Served him right when he complained of the giddiness and his lateness.
We had a great time chatting about the good ol' times back in AHS. Our looney behaviour (together with Mo) back then created all those unforgettable memories that somehow we will never fail to mention whenever we meet and will always have a good laugh out of it. The three of us just had to do stupid things to annoy others like the ice rifle, flicking bus tickets at unsuspecting passers-by (Necks, DON'T deny this, you were the mastermind), the unpleasant G.R.O.J. saga, the tacky made-in-China 'I Love Australia' koala bears he always got for us whenever he went there with the school choir etc etc. Sigh, those were the days.
We even went to the library where he pushed his recommended read to me. We had a stupid mini spelling bee test where we stumped each other with words like 'manageable', 'schizophrenic', 'diarrhoea', 'entrepreneurial' etc. I hate him and his rich vocabulary bank.
